Angosto Tinto 2011 (syrah, grenache, cab franc), Bodega el Angosto

We love this wine – from the label all the way to the bottom of the glass. A blend of 50% syrah, 30% garnacha tintorera  & 20% cab franc; wild yeast fermentation in s/s, malo in oak barrels & 12 months aged in second year French oak barrels (500l). A hint of tar, soft & supple, elegant & intense, caramel spice, blueberry, summer fruits . Grenache bright fruit but without the overt sweetness, excellent structure, less overt spice when compared with La Tribu.
